<<< Scroll down for information about our A Reason For Spelling® give-away!>>>
During the past several months, all of the blog contributors here at A Reason For Homeschool have had the opportunity to visit various conventions and talk with fellow homeschooling moms and dads about curricula published by our sponsor, A Reason For®. We’ve met such amazing personalities, each with different circumstances and reasons for choosing home education—what a joy and privilege it has been!
One topic that comes up frequently is homeschooling a child diagnosed with dyslexia, ADHD or other impediments to learning. We’ve heard from so many parents, most of whom have gotten wildly varied advice and information about the best way to teach a child with learning challenges. Some of their stories are heartbreaking, others are positively triumphant, but ALL are inspiring. You simply cannot witness the passion and determination of these parents championing their child, and not be profoundly moved by it.
Last month, Tracy Glockle of Growing In Grace published a helpful and insightful review of A Reason For Spelling®, that we wanted to share with our readers. Tracy is one of those inspiring moms who homeschools her three children, including a daughter who has dyslexia and has struggled with spelling as a result. As Tracy shares in her review, “What I love most of all is that she is excited about using this curriculum. She loves the bright, colorful graphics and enticing format. She loves the projects and creative activities. She’s excited and looking forward to it, rather than dreading it and in tears.”
