With the holiday just around the corner, we want to be sure all of our new subscribers are aware of the great free printable valentines available for download on our site!
We’ve published hundreds of printables since our blog first started in 2017, because we love creating free, convenient resources for busy homeschool families. If you’re planning to attend a Valentine’s Day party this year —and if you aren’t we highly encourage you to check out Bridgitt’s fantastic ideas for a homeschool co-op valentine party — these free downloads will save you the expense of having to buy valentines for your kids to exchange.
Most of us are no strangers to exchanging cards with our kids or husband on Valentine’s Day, but our February 2018 post, The Best Gifts, encouraged all of us to remember not just immediate family, but also grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, or neighbors, too, and to “think of those who might not receive a card from anyone, and teach your kids to delight in reaching out to those people.” Along with that post, we offered the following printable cards for download:

The two sets of black and white cards can be colored and personalized by your kids (or you, we won’t judge) before giving them to friends and loved ones. The full-color cards are perfect for those of us who may have waited until the last minute. Don’t worry, we’ve all done it! You can just print and sign the card, and pop it into an envelope or attach to a plate of homemade cookies, and you’re ready to go!
Last year, we continued our tradition of offering free valentine goodies with a set of adorable printable cards and treat bag toppers, in three themes: Nature, Ocean, and Dinosaurs. (The treat bag toppers work with a sandwich-size zipper bag … if you’d like instructions for using them, see this post.) These were such a popular download that we wanted to be sure to share them again this year.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, our sponsor, A Reason For, is also offering free Border Sheets from the A Reason For Handwriting curriculum. The Border Sheets have a “LOVE” theme, and are available in manuscript or cursive. Just visit the Downloads page on their website to get your FREE copies — and be sure you check back regularly for new Border Sheet downloads throughout the year!
We hope these resources will be a blessing to you and your family, and we’d love to hear how you use them to reach out to others this Valentine’s Day!
