But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.

Fall is a great time to do some fruit picking – and to do some fruit writing, as well. We hope you are blessed this month as you daily write the Word, digging down deep on each individual trait of the Fruit of the Spirit.

During October we examined the traits of love, joy, peace, and patience. As we continue writing out the Word in November, we will unpack verses on kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

When a woman of God is abiding in Him and yielding herself to the Spirit, these nine traits will grow naturally in her heart. What a blessing to embrace the Spirit’s easy, joyful assignment – following where He leads, loving who He says to love, and doing all we do for His glory alone.

How can you tell when a piece of fruit is mature? It’s sweet and juicy and (depending on the specific fruit) perhaps a little soft, too. Does that describe your life spiritually? Are your words and behaviors sweet? Are you well-hydrated from soaking in the Word of God? Is your heart soft and tender to the gentle leading of our Lord?

As you write out and pray over each of these traits, you may find that God is working on one particular area in your heart and mind.
